In Remembrance

It is with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes that we share our beloved wife,
mom, and grandma passed away peacefully on December 25th, 2025 at
Franciscan Health Center surrounded with love from her family, friends, and
caregivers.

Diane Marie Sletten was born on August 5th 1952 in Duluth Minnesota to
Alice (Bergren) Botsford & David Botsford. Diane graduated from Duluth
Denfeld High School in 1970. Soon after she met the love of her life, Todd
Sletten, while participating in the church choir. They fell in love fast and hard,
and married one another in 1972. They lived a life of adventure and bliss prior
to having children. Once their children were older, Diane went to work as a
bank-teller which she continued to do for years at various banks and credit
unions in Duluth.

Once retired, Diane loved spending time outside in her garden with her family
and friends, she enjoyed sitting around a fire and sharing fond memories.
Diane’s motivation in life was always her family, any chance she had to talk
about her children and grandchildren she would.

Diane will be remembered for her kindness, unconditional love and
perseverance. If you knew Diane you know she is a woman who is strong in
her ways and would do anything if it meant her family and friends are taken
care of. Her fierce personality and warm hugs will be missed dearly.
She is preceded in death by; her father, David Botsford, mother, Alice
Botsford, and father and mother-in-law Clifford & Carol Sletten.
She is survived by; her beloved husband of 53 years, Todd Sletten, Children;
Mike (Lisa) Sletten, Erin Robison, Grandchildren; Kaleb (Brooke) Robison,
Kiana Robison and many other friends and family members.
A service will be held at a later date.
