Denise Wigg (Liupakka), age 71, passed away on April 14, 2025, in Duluth, Minnesota.
Born on March 23, 1954, in Minnesota, Denise lived a quiet and steady life, grounded in love for her family and those closest to her.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: April Carlson, Richard Carlson, and Chantelle Stover; her grandchildren: Anastasia, Melissa, Faith, Dakota, Cheyenne, Elizabeth, David, Cole, Isabelle, and Shianne—as well as many other grandchildren who brought joy to her later years. She is also survived by her brothers, Scott and Jerry.
Denise was preceded in death by her beloved partner, Pat “Hoss” Leichtman, whose memory she carried with her always.
In keeping with her wishes, Denise was cremated, and no formal services will be held. She chose to leave this world the same way she lived in it—quietly, with grace and humility.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her. Gone all too soon.
