Marion L. Gould, 91, passed away peacefully Monday, May 23, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth. She was born October 15, 1924 to Florence (Nelson) Chevalier and Napoleon E. Chevalier in Duluth, MN.
Marion lived in Duluth and attended Denfeld High School. During World War II, she worked at the shipyards in Duluth. After the war she married Harold Gould. Later, she worked for Board of Trade and 17 years at Woolworths. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Marion and her husband Harold lived in Duluth and raised their four boys living on 5th St. & 17th Ave E, 5th St. & 22nd Ave E and Stanford Ave. in Duluth Heights.
Marion was preceded in death by; husband Harold; parents Napoleon and Florence (Nelson) Chevalier; stepfather Edward Vachon; sister Dorothy Rathbun.
She is survived by; four sons, Lorne, Dennis (Linda), Richard, Timothy (Melissa); 12 grandchildren, Nathan (Sonada), Nikol, Marlys, Peter (Heather), Justin, Heather Eck, Brent (Stephanie), Brian (Mary), Kimberly (Matt) Wagner, Matthew, Allison, and Amanda Gould; 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (MaryAnne) Chevalier, Terry (Frana) Chevalier; extended family and friends.
