Gathering of family and friends for Gerald Pechacek, 82 of Aurora will be from 5-8 on Friday November 10th at the Incline Station in Duluth.
Gerry died peacefully on October, 25, 2017 at Northern Pines in Aurora.
He was born July 6, 1935 to Edward and Alice (Lien) Pechacek in Duluth. He graduated from Central High School and enlisted in the US Navy serving during the Korean War. He returned home and was employed by the Duluth Fire Dept. where he was a captain. He retired in 1993 after 35 years.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing golf and skiing.
He is survived by his son: Steven; daughter Lynn and two sisters Anne and Marylea.
