Rob Roy “Nipper” McCampbell, 85, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife Perihan by his side. He was born October 25, 1929 in Binghamton, New York. Rob attended Minneapolis West High School and graduated from Breck Military Academy, St. Paul, in 1947. He graduated from Princeton University in 1951, majoring in history and playing La Crosse. Rob served in the Navy during the Korean War. Rob had many careers and many things that brought him joy. He coached ice hockey, enjoyed fishing trips with his sons, played the banjo, and loved the majestic white pines at Lake Pancore. He loved his wife Perihan whom he met while on a buying trip for Turkish Rugs in Turkey. He loved the artistry in each rug he bought. Rob will be remembered by his smile, his stories and his rugs. Rob is survived by; his wife Perihan; three children, Sarah, Duncan, Duff; grandchildren Christian, Cameron. Funeral Service will be held 10:45 am, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Ft.
