Shari Lynn Himango-Bartel

Shari Lynn Himango-Bartel (1977-2024) passed away unexpectedly on the 18th of September. She was born in Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital to Robert and MaryAnn Himango on April 30th,1977.

She grew up in Cloquet and throughout her life she was a caregiver which flourished while working with patients with Huntington’s Disease. Shari was known for her huge heart, quick wit and the ability to make a person laugh. It didn’t matter where she was, when she walked away she had new friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Signa Himango. She is survived by her daughter, Maddison (Justin) Ellis; her parents, Robert and MaryAnn Himango; her sister, Christy (Bill) Eickhoff, her nephews, Alec (Ashlee) Martin and Braden Martin, her niece, Chloe Martin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her loving dog, Oliver. She will be forever missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 6th, 2024 at Dunlap Island Park in Cloquet, MN from 1-4pm.
