Julie Ann Petersen Soderberg, age 50, passed away on February 11, 2026.

Julie was born in Dillon, Montana and graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of Montana. She went on to complete her Master of Social Work at Portland State University. Julie was a determined, hardworking, and resilient woman who dedicated her life to making meaningful changes in her community. She believed in standing up for what mattered and worked tirelessly to provide compassionate care and support for those who needed it most.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Teri McCoy; her father, Robert Petersen; and her brother, Paul Petersen.

Julie is survived by her children, Liam Gaeuman and Emma Lamphier; her granddaughter, Matilda Lamphier; and her former husband, Han Soderberg, with whom she remained close. She also leaves behind many friends and extended family members who loved her. She is missed.
