Gayle J. Bolander-Pentony

Gayle passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 at Solvay House after a battle with cancer. She was born in Duluth on August 15, 1939 to Walter and Alphild Gray (Soderberg). She graduated from Denfeld High School in 1957 and was proud to be a lifelong West Duluthian.

Gayle is survived by her Children: Don, Barb (Steve), Bill (Carolyn) and Dave (Bobbie) Grandchildren: Troy (Sarah), Tara (Cory) and Casarah and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim and son, Jon. Both of whom she held dearly in her heart.

She left this world with the quiet grace, strength and sense of humor that defined her. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed watching them build lives of their own.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain a source of comfort and love.

Per her request, there will be no funeral.
