Rose M Nelson

 Rose Marie Nelson, 85, of Hermantown, Minnesota,
passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. Born on

May 13, 1940, in Duluth, Minnesota, Rose lived a life

filled with laughter, warmth, and boundless energy that
touched everyone around her.

 

Known for her spitfire personality and sassy charm,

Rose was truly the life of every gathering-her glowing

spirit and upbeat nature made her impossible to forget.

She worked hard throughout her life, embodying

resilience and deep love for her family and friends.

 

Rose found her greatest joy in simple pleasures-

fishing on calm northern lakes, working through a good

puzzle, and caring for the pets she adored. Her love

and dedication created a home full of comfort, humor,

and care.

 

She is survived by her children, Robert Hanna, Scott

Nelson (Janet), Brenda Helgeson (Al), and Vince

Nelson (Alvin). She was preceded in death by her
brother John Wisniewski, and sister, Anna Skogrand.

 

The family extends heartfelt thanks to hospice for the

compassionate care given their mother, especially

Cass and Jean, whose kindness and dedication

brought great comfort in her final days. Rose’s memory

will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who

knew and loved her. Celebration of life to be held at a

later date.
