Alice (Kovala) Tesser

Alice (Kovala) Tesser, 98, passed peacefully on September 1st, 2025. Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Alice was born September 26th, 1926 in Ironwood, Michigan to Waino and Lilly (Maki) Kovala.

Alice was a lifelong homemaker and mother of 5 and an avid book reader. Her family will cherish their memories of fulfilling her favorite shopping list of tabloids, Hershey’s bar, pepperoni, and cheese puffs. Alice enjoyed the simpler things in life, loved her nails long, and painted them a beautiful mulberry pink.

Alice is survived by daughter Kristine (Glenn) Armstrong, sons Gary Tesser, Charles Tesser, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and sister Joyce (Jim) Smith

Preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Tesser, father Waino Kovala, Mother Lilly Kovala, sons Douglas Tesser, Dennis Tesser, brothers Don Kovala and Raymond Kovala

Celebration of life will be held September 26th, 2025 between 5-8 pm at Grand Lake Town Hall 5297 US-53 Saginaw MN 55779
