In Loving Memory of Kym Elaine Young November 17, 1965 – May 21, 2025

Kym Elaine Young, a devoted advocate, activist, artist, and mother, passed away on May 21, 2025. Born on November 17, 1965, Kym dedicated over 30 years to fighting for justice and uplifting her community. With a master’s degree in art, she used creativity as a force for change and healing. Her legacy lives on through her brother Charles, cousin Denise, her five beloved children—Eric, Nichol, Kailia, Ylaina, and Renita—over 20 grandchildren, and a host of cherished friends and family.

A Memorial Peace Rally honoring her life will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM in front of the Superior, WI Courthouse. Kym’s passion, strength, and love will never be forgotten.
