December 5, 1960 - April 12, 2025 |
Lonnie Robert Mraz, born on December 5, 1960, in Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on April 12, 2025, in his hometown of Duluth. He was 64 years old. Lonnie’s life began and ended in the city he called home, a place that shaped his journey and where he left a lasting impression on those who knew him best. His presence will be deeply missed by many. Lonnie is survived by his sister Debbie, close friends Susie and Mike, and his best friend Scott. Also mourning his loss are his loyal pet companions, Inky and Red, who brought him comfort and companionship. Lonnie’s friends, and family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Aspirus St. Luke’s Hospital for their compassionate care during Lonnie’s final days. As we remember Lonnie, we reflect on these words:
Don’t think of him as gone away his journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched… for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.
May Lonnie’s memory bring peace to all who knew and loved him. |
