William Frank Tinsley, born February 6 1951, received into the Lords arms January 3 2019.

With a little humor while discussing what was to be done after he passed Bill said he didn’t care what happened to him after he was gone as he would be with God “you can even put me in a cookie jar for all I care” so I being my father’s daughter promised him I would find him the best cookie jar money could buy, a real Italian one even. All humor aside I think his granddaughter Peaches put his life in perspective best with this:

The greatest man there will ever be.

Before my grandpa was laid in the cookie jar, he was a man who fought in a war and protected all he could see.

As a man he found a beautiful lady. A husband he became to someone he would always love till the end. A great husband he would always be.

A father he also became to three, there bumps and bruises would fade away with one smile from him. A great father he would always be.

And for me one of the greatest grandpa’s ever.

He was always there by my side wherever I need to go somewhere. On my weakest days he could see how strong I was. On the days I tried my hardest he would notice how beautiful I am. He was always there to protect me.

A great man and husband a beloved father and grandfather.

There are tears of sadness and tears of Joy from the memories he’s giving us, but it just proves, he may lay in a cookie jar, but he will always be the greatest there will ever be.
