Vern B. Hietala, 58, passed away peacefully at his Duluth home Sunday, December 24, 2017.
Vern was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing, hunting, and camping, especially with his son Nick. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by; father Ronald Hietala and sister Denise Lageson.
Vern is survived by; son, Nick Hietala of Palo; mother Jean Hietala of Gilbert; brother Lyle (Claudia) Hietala of Palo, three sisters, Sandra (Tom) Cashion of Culver, Roberta Hietala, Melanie Bradley of Gilbert; numerous nieces and nephews.
