Marjorie Ann Mudrak, 81, died peacefully at Solvay Hospice House Wednesday January 14, 2015. She was born October 1, 1933 to Hans and Irene (McManus) Barnstorf in Duluth.

 
Marjorie graduated from Central High School in 1951, and married Mylon Mudrak May 23, 1953. Together they raised four children. She worked at Northwestern Bell as a telephone clerk for 18 years. After retirement they lived in Las Vegas, Lake Havasu, and Kingman Arizona, returning to Duluth in 2009.

 
Marjorie enjoyed knitting, puzzles, reading, living near Lake Superior, and the occasional friendly wager. She was a hard working, intelligent lady who couldn’t be outsmarted. Marjorie’s gregarious personality was instantly likeable. She will be dearly missed.

 
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Mylon Mudrak; son Michael; siblings Robert B., Frederick B., and Thomas B.

 
Marjorie is survived by children Andrew (Colleen) M. of Anoka, MN, Susan (David) Peterson of Duluth, MN, Chuck M. of Cambridge, MN; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings Marie (James) Smith of Duluth, Carol (Jim) Brennan of Kutztown, PA, James B. of Duluth; sister-in-laws Carol B., Jean B., Marilyn B.; special cousin Bill Evinger of Alexandria, VA; friend Art Lesage; extended family members and many friends.

 
Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am Saturday January 17, 2015 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 4901 E Superior St, Duluth. Fr. William Graham officiating, services by Affordable Cremation & Burial, 491-7011, affordableduluth.com
