Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Peace United Church of Christ, 1111 N 11th Ave E, Duluth MN. There will be a time to greet friends beginning at 10:00 am.
Loren R. Mesedahl, 82, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born July 14, 1936 to Halvor and Inga (Bergum) Mesedahl in Duluth, Minnesota.
Loren was preceded in death by; his parents, Halvor Mesedahl, Inga (John) Hogquist, brothers Mike Harlan, sister Laverne; nephew Mark (Monk) Mattila; and infant grandson, Cade David Mesedahl.
Loren is survived by; his daughter Jeanne (David) Bruni, sons Loren (Laurie), Steve, David (Rena) Mesedahl and daughter Meredith; also his loving grandchildren, Vernon, Vanessa, Loren, Brandon, Aaron, Mikki, Emma, Sam, Gretchen, Mailee, Morgan, Chloe, and Caden; great-grandson Maxton, and sister Bett Ann, best friend and brother-in-law, Bruce Mattila; many loving nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
We would love to acknowledge and truly honor his loving and faithful caregivers, his grandchildren; Aaron, Mikki, Emma, Sam, and loving friend Babe Suffiette.
This group of loving caregivers made him laugh each and every day; they sang to him, took him golfing, visiting and to every event possible. These four grandchildren lovingly carried him physically and emotionally until he took his last breath in their arms.
