Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the French River Lutheran Church, 5310 Ryan Rd., Duluth MN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, military honors accorded by the Two Harbors Honor Guard.
Glen Hanson, 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a hard fought battle with cancer, Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was born August 4, 1937 in Pine River, Minnesota.
Glen served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Teamsters Union #346, and was a Truck Driver for many years.
Glen was a great father and grandfather, with an easy smile and always quick with a joke. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Arnold and Gladys (Erickson) Hanson; and son Kris.
Glen is survived by; his loving wife of 49 years, Ingrid; two daughters, Tonya and Tammie; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother Wallace (Delores) Hanson; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
