Jeroldyn R. ‘Gerrie’ Engstrom Lind Wagner, 81, of Duluth, died Wednesday June 1, 2016. She was born on September 25, 1934 in Duluth, MN.
Gerrie graduated from Proctor High School ’52. She married Deane Lind in 1954, lived in California and Michigan and returned to Proctor in 1964. She retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center in 1997.
She married DeWayne Wagner in 1995 and they enjoyed many activities during their years together.
Gerrie was an actice member of Forbes United Methodist Church in Proctor where she was a member of the Lois Circle and United Methodist Women and served on various committees in the church.
She is preceded in death by; her parents, Lydia and Clarence Engstrom, and birth father Lorenz Claussen; her former husband, Deane R. Lind; step-son, Timothy Wagner.
Jeroldyn is survived by; her husband, Dewayne D. Wagner; son Jeffrey (Faith) Lind of San Diego, CA, daughter Sherri (Charles) Leyda of Delano, MN, step-daughter Sandra Wagner of Two Harbors; grandchildren Jeremy and Jennifer Lind, Clara, Charles, and Mary Leyda, Carl Wagner; great-grandaughter, Oonaleyna Lind; siblings Beth (Burt) Doucette of Lino Lakes, Carol (Duane) Sedor of Island Lake, Susan (Paul) Parent of New Jersey, Randall (Marlena) Engstrom of Knoxville, TN, Gwen Holter; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
