Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 3:00 pm, Memorial Service at 4:00 pm at the Mt. Iron Community Center, 8586 Enterprise Dr. South, Mt. Iron, MN. Pastor Dan Miller officiating.
Elereen Caleece Skaudis, 53, of Eveleth, went to be home with her Lord and Saviour Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Virginia Essentia Hospital.
She was born December 13, 1962 to Ellery and Carol Rintala. She graduated drom the Cotton High School in 1981. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield and Walmart. She was married to Peter Skaudis on August 22, 1992.
Elereen was known for her great baking and cooking skills. She enjoyed quilting and her flower and vegetable gardens. The 4th of July was her special holiday. She decorated her home for the 4th of July and invited family and friends for a potluck.
Survivors include her husband, Peter; children Nicolle and Natalie; grandson Isaac Englestad; brothers Ellery Jay, Christopher, Cory (Joy) Rintala; aunt Palma Voss; nephews and nieces Isaiah and Talia Rintala, Joshua and Atara Rintala; cousins; other family and friends; brother-in-law Jeff (Alice) Skaudis, sister-in-laws Margaret, Chris, June, and Mary.
